The Sims is a very close and important franchise to me. I spent a lot of time playing The Sims 2, and even more in The Sims 3. I remember when The Sims 3 released in 2009, in June. It was so cool to experience all of the new features and it was a very refreshing game after Sims 2 got very boring.
I have to admit that I haven’t played The Sims 3 in a loooong time because I don’t want to install all the expansion and stuff packs that I have which take a lot of space and time, alongside with all of my The Sims 3 store purchases, which take even longer. I did this many times and after I downloaded all of my content and installed it, the game began to lag and the more I played the game, the more it lagged.
I did have some good time with many families though, I remember I created myself as a singer and had children and lived my perfect life, then I created different persons from my imagination which had also a great succes having jobs and doing everything by the book, then I had a band, then I had a lot of ShowTime but no University or Paradise Island unfortunately. I know it’s not to late to get into it again, but I just don’t want to get the usual tiredness from The Sims 3.
I watched roughly 30 minutes of real gameplay from the Sims 4 and I really liked most of the new aspects of it, but most of all I liked the fact that it will not get old quickly, like The Sims 3 did for me after 3 or 4 years, that’s 2012-2013.
Excited for The Sims 4 and I have to say that I’m quite surprised how quickly the time passed. Wow. I don’t know if I will be purchasing the game, but I know for sure that I will be trying it out, or even playing it, so here’s to Happy Simming.
